About the Operations Area Manager

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to organize and oversee the operations of a number of stores. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the stores by setting targets, supervising store managers, and ensure targets are attained.

Operations Area Manager responsibilities are:

  • Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency
  • Review and analyze stocks and sales reports, monitoring over and under stocks, implement corrective action to be taken.
  • Ensure effective inventory and warehouse management
  • Set KPIs for direct reports and conduct performance appraisals
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and operational guidelines
  • Work to support the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Conduct quality controls and monitor KPI’s
  • Report to senior executives on progress and issues
  • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise Stores team

Operations Area Manager requirements are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Very good English & computer skills
  • Good knowledge of retail management best practices
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail management or dark stores management
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
